Summer Camp 2025 Registration

PRIOR TO YOUR CHILD PARTICIPATING IN SUMMER CAMP, THESE FORMS MUST BE FILLED OUT, SIGNED, AND UPLOADED WITH YOUR REGISTRATION. DOWNLOAD FORMS HERE. PLEASE READ FORMS CAREFULLY. THANK YOU! 

PLEASE LOOK CAREFULLY AND DOUBLE CHECK BEFORE REGISTERING YOUR YOUNG SCIENTIST FOR SUMMER CAMP. Make sure you are selecting the correct summer camp for their age and grade, and that you have selected the correct month. 

Call (219) 989-3250 to speak with Emma Rose asap if any mistakes were made in the process of registering for summer camp.

Note: When choosing a summer camp, schedule your child for the grade level that they will be entering or going into in the fall of 2025. All camps are developed to be age appropriate for the specific age range covered by that camp tier. Exceptions cannot be made for students outside the appropriate age range represented by that camp (ex. preschooler in AstroTots or 8th grader in Senior Explorer Camp).

AstroTot Challenger Explorer Summer Camp (Grades K - 1st)

This camp gives incoming KINDERGARTEN & FIRST GRADE students a chance to learn about science basics while having fun. These Astro-Tots will explore topics like chemistry, animals, insects, plants, food science, engineering, & astronomy all in a quest to learn more about the amazing world around them! **Campers will be going OUTDOORS and doing activities OUTSIDE during camp.**

DATES:

• June 16th through June 20th
• July 14th through July 18th

Junior Challenger Explorer Summer Camp (Grades 2 & 3)

Campers in GRADES 2 & 3 will explore the wonderful world of STEM and beyond with classic chemistry experiments, team building activities, food science, environmental investigations, and so much more!  All activities are designed and age-appropriate for 2nd & 3rd graders. **Campers may watch scenes from science fiction productions that include battle scenes or intense moments.  Students will be going OUTDOORS and doing activities OUTSIDE.**

DATES:

• June 23rd through June 27th
• July 21st through July 25th

Senior Challenger Explorer Summer Camp (Grades 4 - 6)

Campers in GRADES 4 THROUGH 6 will investigate all things STEM with classic chemistry experiments, team building activities, food science, environmental observations, and so much more!  All activities are designed and age-appropriate for 4th, 5th, and 6th graders. ** Campers may watch scenes from science fiction productions that include battle scenes or intense moments.  Students will be going OUTDOORS and doing activities OUTSIDE.**

DATES:

• June 9th through June 13th
• July 7th through July 11th

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

*Week-long day camps paid-in-full will include a $25 non-refundable service fee.

*Cancellation/Refund Request - 30 days or more prior to camp 
Written notification (email or letter) must be made no less than 30 days prior to the camp start date to receive a refund, excluding the non-refundable service fee. Due to the nature of our business, 30 days written notice is essential for us to refill the camper’s spot. 

*Cancellation/Refund Request - less than 30 days prior to camp
 No refunds will be offered for requests submitted less than 30 days prior to the camp start date, for any reason, including a positive Covid-19 test.

*No refunds will be given if:

• A camper leaves camp early due to missing home or parent request.
• A camper is sent home for behavioral reasons.
• A camper does not show up for camp.

*No Shows

*CANCELLATIONS 
If camp is cancelled by Challenger Learning Center for any other reason; participants will receive a full refund.
