Eclipse Intermediate Workshop
Solar Eclipse 2017 will take place on August 21st across the entire US! Although northwest Indiana is not in the path of totality, we will still see a partial solar eclipse and have a chance to excite our students about astronomy and the workings of our solar system. Teachers will receive eclipse information, standards-based viewing activities and safety tips, to ensure a safe and educational viewing of this rare astronomical event. This session will assist educators of all ages in hosting a viewing party that will kick off the new school year just right!
