VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
If you are interested in space and STEM education, this is the place to be! We provide meaningful work for our volunteers that can contribute directly to supporting our mission. If you are looking to inspire the next generation or astronauts, scientists, and engineers, we would love to have you as part of the volunteer crew. Our staff is always looking for and in need of help!
Below is more information about upcoming volunteer opportunities at Challenger Learning Center of NWI:
- Program Assistant - Volunteers will assist our trained STEM educators in programs by working with students, passing out materials, helping to clean up during and after programs, and problem-solving with students. All program assistant volunteers will have to have a recent background check on file.
- Center Refurbisher - Volunteers will help to keep our Center clean throughout the school year by cleaning up program spaces, tidying up public areas, and doing other tasks to keep our daily operations running smoothly.
- Event Volunteers - Volunteers will be called on for specific times and events to facilitate activities, assist in set up and clean up of events, and helping to keep events running smoothly.

All volunteer hours do count toward community and college/school hours.
